Dr. Bernardo F.Sarmiento Jr., was born and raised in Los Angeles, California, after graduating from Bell High School he went to Guadalajara, Mexico to attend dental school. He earned his degree in dentistry from the Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara in 1998. After practicing general dentistry for 12 years, Dr. Sarmiento completed a 2-year postdoctoral program in the Advanced Education in General Dentistry program at the University of Rochester-Eastman Institute For Oral Health in Rochester, New York in 2012.
Being recognized and highly recommended by his AEGD program director as having exceptional aptitudes and passion for Endodontics, Dr. Sarmiento was accepted into the Graduate Endodontics program. He earned his Postdoctoral Certificate in Endodontics and Masters of Science in Dentistry at Case Western Reserve University in 2015. During his specialty training at CWRU Dr. Sarmiento was a two-time award recipient for top 10 research presentation from the American Association of Endodontists annual meeting competition.
After his specialty training and becoming a licensed specialist he moved with his wife and 3 children to The Woodlands, Texas.
Dr. Sarmiento is proficient in all areas of modern advanced Endodontics such as microscopic and microsurgical techniques. Dr. Sarmiento is a member of the American Association of Endodontists, Houston Academy of Endodontics, American Dental Association, and the Hispanic Dental Association. On a personal note Dr. Sarmiento enjoys traveling, spending time with family and friends. With many years of experience in dentistry, Dr. Sarmiento is always committed in providing the highest level of patient care and professionalism.
