Dr.Colon has been in practice for more than 18 years. She has been practicing in Houston since 2003, when she and her husband moved to Texas.
Dr.Colon was born and raised in Puerto Rico. She attended the University of Puerto Rico and graduated with honors with a Bachelor of Science degreee in Biology. She then earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree graduating in the top 3 percent of her class and was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society.
Through her volunteer activities and patient interactions during dental school, Dr.Colon realized what she had always known, that she loves working with children. In 2000, Dr.Colon completed a two year residency specializing in pediatric dentistry where she received extensive training in all aspects of pediatric dentistry.

Dr.Colon and her husband ,who is an oral surgeon, have two wonderful children who keep them busy with their many activities. When she is not treating her patients, Dr.Colon enjoys spending time with her family, playing tennis, and spending time outdoors.
