Dr. Roberto Porras has established practice in periodontics and implant dentistry in the Houston area. After completing his undergraduate degree with outstanding marks, spent three years as a periodontology resident at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, where he attained his periodontal specialty certification and a Master of Science Degree.
After completing his residency program here in Houston at University of Texas Health Science Center Houston, Dr. Porras went on to open Texas Periodontal Associates in the fall of 2000. That wasn’t enough for Dr. Porras he went on to get his board certification through the American Academy of Periodontology in 2004.
As a board-certified periodontist in Houston Dr. Porras stays up to date on all the current surgical techniques to ensure our patients only receive the best of the best. His procedures range from, but not limited to, dental implants to extractions to gum grafting. All of our procedures are done under intravenous conscious sedation, keeping our patients 100% comfortable.
